He was listed as: Jones, Adam, male, age 24, born Ontario, Methodist, of English origin, Carpenter. He and Mary Ann McAuliff, daughter of Timothy McAuliff and Catharine (?) McAuliff, were married by Reverend J. H. Starr on Wednesday, 7 February 1872 at St. Thomas, Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada. He was recorded as being 26, living in Markham, bachelor, Carpenter, Wesleyan Methodist. She was 19, living in Union Yarmouth, spinster, Wesleyan Methodist. Hiram Jones and Edith Harmon witnessed the marriage. He was listed as the informant on the death registration of Mary Ann Jones. He and Naomi Taylor, daughter of Joseph Taylor and Charlotte Hayward, were married by Minister Charles Freshman on Tuesday, 21 October 1873 at the residence of the bride's father, Ingersoll, Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada.
