     Eve Schell was also known as Aneve. She was born on Monday, 7 November 1768. She was baptized, Tuesday, 15 November 1768 at Stone Arabia, Montgomery Co., New York, USA. During the revolution, she was out in the woods, some distance from the house when she was surprised and attacked by the Indians. She was scalped and left for dead with the pipe stem from the tomahawk lodged in her skull. She regained conciousness, pulled out the pipe stem and struggled home. She eventually recovered from her wounds. She and William D. Plank were married in 1792 at German Flatts, Herkimer Co., New York, USA. Eve died on Thursday, 5 January 1832 at Uxbridge, Reach Twp., Ontario, Canada, at age 63 years, 1 month and 29 days. She was buried at Quaker Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge, Reach Twp., Ontario, Canada.
