She and Albert Spring, son of Joseph Spring and Elizabeth Brooks, were married by Minister H. Smith on Monday, 26 December 1887 at Markham Twp., York Co., Ontario, Canada. She was 27, living in Markham, spinster, Methodist and her surname was written as Heabner. He was 24, living in Scarborough, bachelor, farmer, Presybterian. Enos Spring and Rebecca Spring witnessed the marriage. She appeared on the census of 6 April 1891 in the household of Albert Spring at Scarborough Twp., York Co., Ontario, Canada. She was recorded as: Spring, Sarah, female, age 34, married, wife, born Ontario, both parents born Ontario, C Methodist, able to read and write. Sarah died on Monday, 28 September 1896 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. The death registration states she was found dead in bed. Dr. J. M. B. Woods attended at the death.
