Silas Fletcher Cryderman

     Silas Fletcher Cryderman was born on Friday, 28 October 1887 at North Gwillimbury Twp., York Co., Ontario, Canada, and his father was the informant. Dr. (?) Noble attended at the birth. He and Ethel May Leitch, daughter of Adam Leitch and Jannet Crawford, were married by Reverend J. N. Kitching on Monday, 29 November 1920 at Zephyr, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. He was recorded as a farmer, bachelor, aged 33, not a member of the church, intending to live in the Township of Scott. She was listed as a spinster, domestic, aged 35, Presbyterian. Alvin Kitching and Hannah Kitching witnessed the marriage. Silas died on Friday, 28 April 1961 at The Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Victoria Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 73 years and 6 months. He was buried on Monday, 1 May 1961 at Baldwin Christian Church Cemetery, Baldwin, Georgina Twp., York Co., Ontario, Canada.
