     Catherine McInnis - Dixon was born circa 1886 at Eldon Twp., Victoria Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Duncan John Shaw, son of John Shaw and Mary McEachern, were married by Reverend F. R. Brown on Thursday, 19 June 1924 at the Methodist Parsonage, Orillia, Simcoe Co., Ontario, Canada. He was registered as being aged 50, widower, Methodist, living in Longford Mills, intending to live in Orillia. She is listed as being 38, widow, Presbyterian, living in Longford Mills. They were both able to read and write. Margaret Ann Rutherford and Archibald Shaw witnessed the marriage.
