Mary Ann McAuliff

     Mary Ann McAuliff was born in October 1852 at London, Middlesex Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Adam Jones, son of Hiram Jones and Mary Eliza Hebner, were married by Reverend J. H. Starr on Wednesday, 7 February 1872 at St. Thomas, Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada. He was recorded as being 26, living in Markham, bachelor, Carpenter, Wesleyan Methodist. She was 19, living in Union Yarmouth, spinster, Wesleyan Methodist. Hiram Jones and Edith Harmon witnessed the marriage. Mary died on Sunday, 20 April 1873 at St. Thomas, Welland Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 20 years and 6 months, due to fever after childbirth, and there was no doctor in attendance. Adam Jones was listed as the informant.
