Sarah Jane McCracken

     Sarah Jane McCracken was also known as Jennie Hebner. She was born in April 1849. She and Francis Hebner, son of Josiah Hebner and Harriet Armitage, were married by S. E. Wishard on Thursday, 21 July 1870 at Saginaw, Saginaw Co., Michigan, USA. He was 27, white, living in Jedo, sailor, born in Oakwood. She was of an unknown age, living in Geneva, Wisconsin. Martin H. McCracken and Marcha Henry witnessed the marriage. She witnessed the marriage of Thomas Clayton Johnson and Mary Hebner. She appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in the household of Francis Hebner at Port Huron, Saint Clair Co., Michigan, USA. She was listed as: Hebner, Jennie, white, female, age 31, wife, married, born Wisconsin, father born New York, mother born Pennsylvania. Sarah died on Wednesday, 27 March 1918 at Toledo, Ohio, USA, at age 68 years and 11 months.
