Reginald Oliver Percival Beare

     Reginald Oliver Percival Beare was also known as Percy Rex Beare. He was born on Friday, 1 July 1898 at Armadale, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He began military service on 5 October 1916 at Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, when he signed his attestation papers, becoming regimental #276357 with the (?) Battallion, Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Forces. His name was Percy Rex Beare and he was living at 2318 Halifax St., Regina, Saskatchewan, single and working as a student. He was Presbyterian, listed his father at the same address, as his next of kin. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, July 1 1896. He was considered fit on the 13'th of Oct 1916 and described as: 5', 10" tall, fair complexion, grey eyes, brown hair. He had a small scar on the left side of his chin as a distinguishing mark.
