His eye sight was 20/40, 20/40, hearing right was modified considerably, hearing left was normal. He and Edith Corcoran, daughter of Harry Corcoran and Lucy Steel, were married by Minister Charles A. Mustard on Thursday, 6 October 1921 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 32, bachelor, farmer, living at 12 St. Clair Gardens, Toronto, born in Fesserton, Presbyterian, able to read and write, and his name was recorded as William Hy Hebner. She was 23, spinster, living at 110 Dupont Street, Toronto, born Birkenhead England, able to read and write. Wilton Henry Jeeves and Ellen Matilda Jeeves witnessed the marriage. William died on Wednesday, 5 December 1951 at Turtle Valley, British Columbia, Canada, at age 62 years, 4 months and 9 days, due to a fracture of skull and decapitation from being caught in a saw arbor.
