Verna Wolfe

     Verna Wolfe was born circa 1889 at Wiarton, Grey Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Allan Alexander McLean, son of Alex McLean and Nancy Hebner, were married by A. L. Budge on Sunday, 15 April 1906 at Grey Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 26, born in Ingersoll, living in Hanover, bachelor, cabinet maker, Presbyterian. She was 17, born and living in Wiarton, spinster, dress maker, Presbyterian. There is a written note at the bottom of the registration stating, "The license for the above bears the date of Feb. 27 and gives the bride's name as Clarice". Sarah Jamenson and Edna Budge witnessed the marriage.
