Emma May Foster

     Emma May Foster was born on Thursday, 16 May 1907 at Lot 116, Concession 1E, Holland Landing, York Co., Ontario, Canada, and her father was the informant. Dr. (?) Campbell attended at the birth. She and Herbert Gordon McKelvey, son of Josiah Washington McKelvey and Elizabeth Ann Dixon, were married on Saturday, 19 February 1927 at Newmarket, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 23, labourer, born Mount Albert, living in Queensville. She was 19, born and living in Queensville. Olive Elizabeth McKelvey and Alvin Burton Washington Foster witnessed the marriage. Emma died in 1981 at age 73 years.
