Robert Douglas Matt was born on Wednesday, 13 December 1893. He witnessed the marriage of Robert Lewis Letts and Maud Victoria Matt. He and Mabel Alma Cooper, daughter of Robert Cooper and Fiona Holdstocks, were married by Reverend J. W. Arnott on Wednesday, 2 June 1920 at Sutton, York Co., Ontario, Canada. Douglas Cooper and Bertha Stonehouse witnessed the marriage. He was listed as the informant on the death registration of Elizabeth Hobson. Robert died in 1957 at age 63 years. He was buried at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton, York Co., Ontario, Canada.
