William Alex Walker

     William Alex Walker was born in 1888 at Napanee, Ontario, Canada. He and Elizabeth Anderson Cook, daughter of James Cook and Margaret Oxtoby, were married by Reverend E. MacDonald on Sunday, 20 September 1914 at Leaskdale, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She was 26, born and living in Leaksdale, spinster, Presbyterian. He was 26, living in Uxbridge Twp., born Napanee, bachelor, farmer, Presbyterian. Zella McLachlin C. Cook and Alex L. Mustard witnessed the marriage. William died on Tuesday, 27 December 1960 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, at age 72 years. He was buried at Uxbridge Cemetery, Uxbridge, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada.
