James Henry Ackney

     James Henry Ackney was born on Sunday, 10 February 1850 at England. He and Jane Watson, daughter of Richard Watson and Catherine Schell, were married by Reverend J. B. Edmondson on Monday, 6 February 1871 at Columbus, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She was 22, born and living in Reach Twp., spinster, Presbyterian. He was 20, living in Reach Twp, born England, bachelor, farmer, Presbyterian, and his surname was Akney. William Dunlop witnessed the marriage. James died on Tuesday, 15 December 1891 at Reach Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 41 years, 10 months and 5 days, from bleeding of the lungs, 2 weeks. Dr. (?) Bascom attended at the death. He was buried at Hillman Cemetery, Utica, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada.
