Elizabeth Shaw

He was 29, born in Birmingham England, living in Cannington (?), bachelor, labourer, Methodist. William Currie and Margaret Ann Currie witnessed the marriage. She appeared on the census of 1901 in the household of Samuel Kimberley at Rama Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She was listed as: Kimberly, Elizabeth, female, wife, married, born June 20 1881 in Ontario, age 19, of Scotch origin, Canadian, Presbyterian, unable to read and write, speaks English. She appeared on the census of 1911 in the household of Samuel Kimberley at E Part 24, Front Range, Rama Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She was recorded as: Kimberly, Bessie, female, wife, married, born June 1885 in Ontario, age 26, of Scotch origin, Canadian, Presbyterian, able to read, write and speak English. According to Lila Campbell's letter of November 9, 1998, she left Samuel and two little children and ended up in Toronto. She married a Bill Huffman (or Hoffman) and had more children. Elizabeth died on Wednesday, 2 April 1947 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 65 years, 9 months and 13 days. She was buried on Saturday, 5 April 1947 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.
