They were both listed as being single, intending to live in Longford Mills. He was age 25, a still man, Methodist. She was 19, housewife, Presbyterian. Edward McAuley and Mary Jane Shaw witnessed the marriage. Sadie died on Thursday, 31 August 1989 at the Oshawa General Hospital, Oshawa, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada.
