Lillian Violet Snelgrove

     Lillian Violet Snelgrove was born on Sunday, 22 August 1897 at Thorah, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Wilbert Jefferson Johnston, son of Joseph Johnston and Louisa Jane Lowes, were married by Reverend H. A. Brown on Wednesday, 9 April 1919 at Sunderland, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 21, living in Scott Twp., born in Brock Twp., bachelor, farmer, Methodist. She was 21, living in Brock Twp., born in Thorah Twp., spinster, Methodist. Earl Leslie Brethour and Velma Breathour witnessed the marriage. Lillian died in 1984 at age 86 years.
