Eleanor Thompson

     Eleanor Thompson was also known as Ellen. She was born on Sunday, 29 July 1849 at Scott Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Minister James E. Moore, son of Andrew Wildman Moore and Maria Casler Schell, were married by Joseph Markham on Wednesday, 19 July 1876 at residence of her father, Scott Twp., Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 26, living in Mitchell, born in Scott Twp., bachelor, Minister, Methodist. She was 26, born and living in Scott Twp., spinster, Methodist. Thomas Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Moore witnessed the marriage. She witnessed the marriage of Emma Jane Young and Albert Whitworth Moore. Eleanor died on Sunday, 9 March 1924 at Uxbridge, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 74 years, 7 months and 9 days, due to chronic endocarditis. Dr. F. E. Mellow attended at the death. Minister James E. Moore was listed as the informant. She was buried on Tuesday, 11 March 1924 at Uxbridge Cemetery, Uxbridge, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada.
