She and William Rolling, son of John Rolling and Hannah McCoy, were married by Reverend J. Dowling on Monday, 12 January 1874 at Uxbridge, Ontario Co., Ontario, Canada. He was registered as being 25, single, farmer, Methodist. She was 25, single and Methodist. E. Armitage and Montha Armitage witnessed the marriage. Mary died on Saturday, 1 February 1879 at Collingwood, Grey Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 30 years, 10 months and 14 days, no cause of death listed. Dr. (?) Carr attended at the death.
