I think the enumerator got her and Clare mixed up. She appeared on the census of 2 June 1911 in the household of John George Scanlon at 150 Bartlet Ave., Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. She is recorded as: Scanlon, Mabel, female, daughter, single, born October 1892 in Ontario, age 18, of Irish origin, Canadian, Methodist, employee, operator at Whitewest, worked for 52 weeks, 45 hours a week, earned $260, able to read, write and speak English. She was listed as the informant on the death registration of Ellen Sophia Scanlon.
