Catherine Jane McDonald

     Catherine Jane McDonald was born circa 1870 at Caledonia Twp., Prescott and Russell United Co., Ontario, Canada. She and Charles Peter Ferguson, son of Daniel Ferguson and Ellen Hebner, were married by Reverend W. H. Lardlaw on Friday, 23 September 1887 at Sandfield, District of Algoma, Ontario, Canada. He was recorded as age 30, living in Carnarvaron Twp., bachelor, farmer, Presbyterian. She was 17, spinster, living in Carnarvaron Twp., Church of England. Richard Daily McDonald and Mary Smith witnessed the marriage. She was listed as the informant on the death registration of Charles Peter Ferguson. Catherine died on Monday, 21 February 1921 at Mindemoya, Manitoulin District, Ontario, Canada, due to cancer of the rectum. Dr. Robert W. Davis attended at the death. Robert McDonald was listed as the informant. She was buried on Wednesday, 21 September 1921 at Mindemoya, Manitoulin District, Ontario, Canada.
