William Hodgkinson was born in 1794 at Grantham Twp., Lincoln Co., Upper Canada. He was baptized by Reverend Robert Addison, Sunday, 4 November 1810 at the 40 Mile Creek, Ontario, Canada. He petitioned for land on Monday, 19 June 1815 from Niagara, Lincoln Co., Upper Canada. He was praying for 200 acres of land and that it may be Lot Number 24 in the fourth concession of Scarborough in the Home District. An image of the petition can be viewed here.
