Bernice Evelyn Thompson

     Bernice Evelyn Thompson was born on Friday, 11 August 1905. She and Samuel Harford Leitch, son of George Leitch and Maud Clarinda Riddle, were married by Mennonite Minister H. R. Frey on Friday, 14 March 1924 at Ravenshoe, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He was 21, bachelor, agent for the C.N.R., Presbyterian, born and living in Brown Hill. She was 18 years and 5 months, spinster, Methodist, born in Cedar Brae, living in Ravenshoe. Both were able to read and write. Stanely Miller and Dora Thompson witnessed the marriage. Bernice died on Sunday, 25 November 1984 at York County Hospital, Newmarket, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 79 years, 3 months and 14 days.
